Introduction:

Audit & Accounts Training Institute (AATI), Islamabad was established in 1984 headed by Director (BS-19). On 5^th May 2015, the institute was renamed as Pakistan Audit & Accounts Academy (PAAA).

Pakistan Audit & Accounts Academy, Islamabad (formerly AATI) has been imparting CPD trainings to officers/officials of Pakistan Audit Department (PAD) & Controller General of Accounts (CGA) since 1984. PAAA has been involved in capacity building of officers and staff of PAD and CGA and their field offices located at Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and AJK.

Core areas of Training are as follows:

• Financial Reporting
• Auditing
• Management – Government Rules and Regulation
• Information Technology

In addition, PAAA, Islamabad conducts demand / request based courses for officers and staff of PAD and other Ministries, departments etc. on need basis. The Academy is mandated to offer the courses to officers/officials from BS-1 to BS-19.

9. Auditing the Procurement Function
10. Project/ Program Audit
11. Basic IT related courses i.e. MS Office, In page, CISA, CISM etc.
